At the end of March 2020 I started writing a diary. Each day I would write my thoughts and a little poem as a sign off. Those poems turned into melodies and, while I was quarantining in Canada, I turned them into songs. I wanted to create something that could be performed solo, in lockdown, when collaborators were miles away. I wanted to create hope for my fellow musicians stuck inside.
